Partners in Prevention believes it is important to keep youth active and engaged in their community. While making new friends, young people can develop recreational skills and hobbies, and as they grow older, become involved in volunteerism and leadership.
Partners in Prevention follows the model of “Positive Youth Development”, understanding that all young people have strengths. Youth are best able to move through their developmental stages when they are supported by individuals, family, schools, youth agencies, faith organizations and others. Therefore, Partners in Prevention provides services, opportunities and support through Youth Recreation, Youth Action Committee and Mentoring.
